After printing the application or receiving a paper one, you will have to fill it out either with a typewriter or with a pen with dark blue or black ink. Use a roller ball or ball point pen, not a felt-tip (these are too fat). Never use creative colors. Only hand-write if you have neat, legible handwriting, and make sure your letters are distinguishable from one another. Do not scan in a paper application: colleges like to control the way you apply. However, even if you hand-write your application, the answers to supplemental questions and essays should always be computer-written.
