A good source of information on Siberan and other irises is the The Historic Iris Preservation Society They have lots of gorgeous photographs, and useful reference links.
Trust me, these tough plants well worth having in any garden. I share hunks of my original specimen regularly, but always with this caveat---future division may require a chain saw!
