*Note: According to Rodale's Illustrated Encyclopedia of Herbs, "...sweet woodruff actually has roots in two genera: Gallium (the bedstraws) and Asperula (the woodruffs). The distinction between the genera is a find one - only the length of the corolla tube separates the Asperulas from the Galiums. A. oderata thus is a synonym for G. oderatum.
