even if the winter weather gets drastic out doors. Sometimes you can even get a full year out of annuals this way, depending on the plant and your outdoor climate as well.

Another way to find herbs for indoor use is to take advantage of the great bargains your local garden center has on herbs at the end of the year. Stock up on a few favorites, like parsley, from which you'll want to be gathering more than a single indoor plants will produce on a regular basis. Or take the opportunity to experiment with a some new varieties, to see if they are things you'll want to include in your outdoor garden the following Spring - or maybe decide to keep indoors and nearby!

This year, my Spring herb garden will be planted with another yet Season in mind...what can come indoors months from now, to sustain me through these cravings next winter!
