Herb Plant Sources Online

© Laurel Morris

It is rare for most people to have a local source to go to for a wide variety of herb plants. Most have to rely on seed sources or mail order. How exciting it can be to receive these live plants through the mail! These live plants arrive totally dependent on you, the caretaker, for their life and sustenance. Where will you plant them, and how will you nurture them?

Ordering plants online is easy and very convenient. Most online and mail order stores will not ship your plants until the last frost has passed. It is surprising that plants stand up very well to shipping. Most will be shipped in small plastic pots with a good amount of securing and packing materials. Some are shipped with substances to keep the plants moist until their arrival.
