Doro Interview
Who did you work with on Fight? We had a couple of nice guest musicians. Chris Caffery from Savatage played. I thought it would be nice to get a great guitar player for a guest spot. Savatage was on a European tour and have the same tour manager as we have. I told the tour manager I was looking for another guitar player to put some solos on the CD. He said "Chris is standing next to me and he'd love to do it." The next day he flew from Spain to Germany and played on the record. That was the last gig he played with us. Right after that he went into the hospital. Mario was such a great guitar player and a fantastic person. What's going to be on the DVD you're working on, and when will it be released? It should be released in August. It will be 2 or maybe even 3 DVDs. It will have historic stuff, like some footage we found from the very early days. I want to put bootleg stuff on, highlights from festivals, acoustic sets, sound checks, behind the scenes tour bus things, fan archives. 1 DVD will be a live concert. You've been touring for over 20 years. Is it still fun for you? It's still fun. It's what I love the most. The tour bus is my home. The longer I do it, the
