American's favorite hard rocking Dad returns to headline the 8th annual Ozzfest. Ozzy Osbourne returns to headline Ozzfest 2003. The Prince of Darkness will hit the stage with Zakk Wylde, Robert Trujillo, and Michael Bordin with a hard-hitting set of
songs culled from his 33-year career as rock's purveyor of heavy metal.
Other acts that have been announced for Ozzfest 2003 include Korn, who are playing the festival for the first time; Marilyn Manson returns with his unforgettable stage show; Ozzfest favorites Disturbed are back; and Ozzfest 2002 Second Stagers Chevelle have graduated and will usher in the Main Stage entertainment. Ozzfest's reputation as the premiere rock n'roll festival is cemented each year as new bands continue to break out and become multi-platinum acts. Bands such as Limp Bizkit, Incubus, Linkin Park, System of a Down, Slipknot, Godsmack, POD and Disturbed are just a few of the many bands that have benefited by a summer on the Ozzfest stage. Presiding over the Second Stage at Ozzfest 2003 is the English goth-metal band Cradle of Filth who will make their first U.S. rock festival appearance on Ozzfest 2003. Shadow's Fall, Killswitch Engage, and Nothingface bring a heavier edge to the second stage, joining Hotwire, Grade 8, Twisted Method, Unloco, and Memento as some of the 14 bands that will round out the second stage lineup. In addition to 14 hours of music, Ozzfest offers The Village of The Damned concourse with merchandise, video games, piercing booths and world-class tattoo artists.
