Trigger Point Interview

What are your tour plans once the album comes out?

We will be touring from Sept. to Dec Most likely. Then we are going to take a nice long Christmas break and hit the road again until spring, then depending on if we get any summer festivals we should start working on the next record.

What are your favorite and least favorite cities/venues to play live?

I don't think we have a least favorite. Our home is The Whisky in LA. And our second home is Peabodys in Cleveland. Other than that we love Chicago, Phoenix, Buffalo, and Limestone.

How did you get started in music?

It's just something I fell into, I never really saw myself doing anything else so I dedicated myself to every aspect. From signing to the business to playing other instruments, I want to be good at all of it.

Who were your musical inspirations?

Metallica and Pantera were the ones that gave me my biggest initial push. But I listen to EVERYTHING imaginable and am influence by it all.

Who are some current artists you admire?

I love Coheed and Cambria and Alexis on Fire. Dillenger is awesome, The Bled are doing some really good stuff too.

What's currently in your CD player/iPod?

Tons of things, I just put it on shuffle so I have my own kick ass radio station

I see you have a link to the West Memphis 3 site on your band's site. What drew you to their cause?

I have been involved in the cause since I was 14 when I saw Paradise Lost. Since then I have been telling as many people as I can about it. Me and Paul are in the third Documentary coming out, we are at a benefit show with Tenacious D.

The Final Five (questions a little out of the ordinary)

What are you proudest of?

How far I have come.

What are you most ashamed of?

None of your business

What's your biggest fear?

That I am capable of being everything that I want to be

What's the best movie or DVD you've seen lately?

Devils Rejects and Wedding Crashers
