American Head Charge Back On The Road
The last six weeks have been tumultuous, to say the least, for American Head Charge as they continue to struggle through the death of their friend and guitarist Bryan Ottoson, who passed away April 20 during the band's national US tour with Mudvayne. In homage to Ottoson, the band will continue to tour and heads back out on the road beginning June 13 in Tempe, AZ when they embark on an eight week tour with Static X. Benji Hellberg, who filled in on guitar duties during the remaining Mudvayne dates, will continue playing with AHC on the upcoming tour including the band's appearance at the Download Festival in the UK on June 11.
American Head Charge's long-awaited new album, The Feeding, in-stored on February 15 to rave reviews in both the US and the UK with Revolver giving the album 4 out of 5 *s , Kerrang! awarding it 4 Ks and Total Guitar calling it an "early contender for metal album of the year." The album's first single, "Loyalty," received great radio airplay and will be used by EA Sports on their upcoming NHL 2006 video game out August 2005. Their next single, "Dirty," hits Active Rock soon.
