(In alphabetical order) 3 Inches of Blood - Advance and Vanquish Ralph Sutton - Host of the syndicated radio show the Tour Bus 2004 was one of the best years for rock in a long time. To try and pick just 10 was next to impossible... so I picked 13. And with new music from Priest, Queensryche, AC/DC, Motley and more in '05 - let's hope it's just as hard to pick next year!
The great thing is - looking at this list - we've had every single band on the show except the Rasmus. Which , being that they are from Finland, we will let them slide. :) Not to toot our own horns here but - we were the first radio show to play HIM, Rasmus, and Silvertide (and Silvertide's first radio interview was with The Tour Bus!). We also somehow obtained a copy of The Scorpions CD about 2 months before it came out - and started playing cuts off that CD right away. Here's to keepin rock alive in '05.
