On Saturday, April 24, 1999 the Spring Affair plant sale committee works hard to make sure the best plant selection possible is offered. Like all gardeners, committee memebers each have their favorites resulting in discussions about which plants will be sold. The committee will have approximately two hundred variety of plants for sale. In keeping with the theme of old fashioned plants, this year's selections are plants with long garden histories. Before or after your plant shoppping you will have a variety of programs and demonstrations by gardening experts exploring gardens of the past and how to recreate them. A few of the seminars which will be held on April 24th include the following; Something Old Something New, Gardening with Prairie Boxes and Second Empires, Elements for the Classic Garden and Rosemary for Remembrance. Spring Affair in 1999 is an event you do not want to miss. It will be as exciting and informative as the 1998 Spring Affair was.
