As the sands in the hour-glass slowly dwindle in the journey of our lives,it becomes more apparent to me that we must brave the storms of fear. Why? So, we may accomplish our greatest passions. We shouldn't just sit and watch the wheels go by. The power to create our wildest dreams is within ourselves, if we use those powers to find success.
"Don't sit in your lonely room, just staring back in silent gloom that's not where you belong. Remember the feelings you had as a child, when you woke-up and morning smiled. It's time you felt that way again." Goffin-King from "Take A Giant Step" 1966. Sometime, we will question our purpose in life. You shouldn't wait for opportunities to come your way. I try not to let any opportunity pass me by. So,what if I am hearing impaired! Why should my hearing loss stop me from acheiving my dreams? How you deal with your hearing impairment reflects on how your life will change for you. I am very serious about what I am saying. All of us who are hearing impaired can be the Pied Piper and chase the rats(evils) away. Break down the walls of any obstacles, which are stopping us from true happiness. Fulfillment in your life can be yours, so don't be afraid to fly as high as you dare to! A positive outlook on life can make your journey an easier one. Although, you know you won't get everything you want in life (so who does?) you'll have made your best effort. Nobody can do any better than that. Right? This week, when I wasn't volunteering, I began my "assignment" for our next Writer's Group Meeting. We decided to re-group on April 22nd. Last time, I wasn't able to have the group comment on the work I had brought with me. I had written it in longhand and Dr. Pray ( it was his house we were meeting at) told me earlier, before the others arrived, this group preferred our writings typed with enough copies for all to read. My new group included: Dr. Ralph Pray, Mike, David and Pat(who graciously drove me home,a big thanks) and two women who's names at the moment escapes me. A guy named Charlie wasn't able to make this meeting. Go To Page: 1 2
