Dreams Shouldn't Be ScaryHalloween is suppose to scare you. Goblins, Ghosts, and Demons are the norm. I believe something which can be scarier is following your dream. No matter what the consequences may be you shouldn't let fear keep you from making your dreams come true for you. James Carpenter had a dream to work for Walt Disney Productions as an animator. On November 5th, 2000, he will be moving to Orlando, Florida to become a computer animator. James told me that he's happy about his dream becoming a reality. Just going out and changing your life is hard enough. Imagine what awaits you when you are hearing impaired. Talking as a person who fits this catagory myself, taking the first step is where nightmares come from. You need to rid yourself of past ghosts and move on. If your desire is strong enough to overide the fear, great opportunities won't pass you by. James believed Disney only hired personnel from within their employees. He inquired at his local church for information. The person he spoke with knew of opened positions, and now he's off to Disney World to work at his dream. The power to sail on the voyage of your life doesn't come from a magic spell or potion. I've realized time after time, in my writing successes the road was bumpy due to my lack of self- belief. As I sit at my desk looking for excuses not to write, I should be using this energy to complete the task at hand. Don't be afraid of the unknown, as it's fear itself which holds us back. Face all the scariest thoughts you may have head on. Once I was afraid of words I couldn't hear. Now I see all my fears were blocking me from experiencing the good life, I now enjoy. Dreams are never suppose to be scary. As long as you keep your eyes wide open for suspicious creatures of gloom and doom, you'll never have to be afraid of the unknown, or the dreams you make come true. My biggest downfall seems to be when I focus on my setbacks. When I begin to concentrate on my goals and accomplishments, I find I'm growing closer to my heart's desire by leaps and bounds. So feel good about your jobs well done. It isn't wrong to give yourself praise. After all, every once in a while we need to capture positive vibes to keep our boat afloat and full speed ahead!
