Healthy Snacks for your Skin

Healthy Snacks for your skin By Pamela Conoly

We love to snack! But a lot of times what we think is a healthy snack really isn't.Next time you think your munching on a healthy snack, check the ingredients or nutrician label.Check the fat content. If it is the highest thing on there put it down. You may be saving calories because of the low or no sugar content but too much fat can still cause you to have blemish problems even though your eating properly. Sliced raw vegetables are always good.High in fiber, increases energy level, good for your skin.Spinach is high in calcium like milk(low fat Of course). Popcorn is actually good for you if you pop it yourself on the stove and add your own margerine(not butter)and salt(light salt not real Salt)iodized of course. Instead of grabbing a beer even if it is a light one or soda, drink a glass of water with your snack.Snacking makes you thirsty so you'll guzzle it down like pop anyway. Thats good because water increases energy, not to mention helps in digestion and its good for your skin. Don't be afraid of fruit. Apples, grapes and bananas makes excellent snacks.Don't get in the habit of snacking on nuts unless they are dry roasted. No salted, oily nuts. Rice cakes, the flavored kind are excellent with cream cheese(these also come in different flavors).Philidelphia cream cheese is the only one that I have found that is advertised as low fat and is good for you, they also make a light version of this too. Try these snack ideas! You'll feel better about yourself and just plain better all the way around. Happy Snacking! :)
