Those horrifying sometimes painful intrusions that seem to pop up overnight. What exactly causes them? Why are we not suppose to pop them? Well, fact is,the nasty stuff inside has bacteria(among other things) in it. While it is contained it will remain in one painful spot. Unless it is left totally unattended. But if it is broken out and able to be in contact with other pores can cause it to spread and make more. Thus,if you try to pop them you could force the bacteria back into the pores creating more,not to mention,bigger zits! If you squeeze and pop a lot you run the risk of infestion that is quite painful and expensive because you would have to go to a dermatologist to get rid of it. So do not pop or squeeze! There are other not so costly ways to get rid of them. In the first place try eliminating foods(mostly junk and sweets) that seem to cause these zits to pop up just from thinking about them. You know the ones! Then make sure your face is cleansed everyday twice a day. Some of us need a little extra help,especially Teens. There are lots of products on the market. The best in my opinion are the ones that have no more than 5% benzoil peroxide in them.Anymore than this usually causes problems,rash,etc. If 5% doesn’t do it for you then seek the advice of a professional. Be sure to read labels and follow all instructions on packaging. If your not sure or your condition seems to be getting serious please consult a Doctor. But most of the time you can change your complexion’s condition just by getting rid of some bad habits and cutting out(or down) on the junky stuff! You have far better things to do with your life than battling zits all of the time. Sometimes all it takes is to step back and look at your eating habits. If you haven’t tried new foods in a while,try something new. Something healthy that you didn’t like before can become quite appealing prepared in a different and imaginative way. For example,if it is vegetables that you have a hard time with try them with cheese or Mushrooms. Liver(my diversion) can actually be good! You’ve heard of “Liver and Onions.” Contrary to popular belief you do not have to smother liver with onions to make it taste good. Just try cooking your liver with half an onion(by the way,you don’t have to use onions either) sliced. Add about a tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet. Brown on both
