Interestingly, 29% of the people taking a placebo also showed a reduction in headaches, which just shows the power of the mind to effect physical change. On another note, research reported to the American Neurological Association shows that biofeedback is not effective for chronic tension headaches or migraines. This is a surprise since biofeedback has long been an accepted therapy for migraines, and I hope to have more information about this in a future article.
