From Tiny Bubbles to Polynesian MagicNow that you've had a chance to get a start on that great Hawaiian tan, taken in the beautiful Hawaiian sunset, now it's time to dress up and get out on the town! Waikiki's night life is part of the overall excitement of a Hawaiian vacation. Don Ho still rules Waikiki with nightly shows at the Waikiki Beachcomber in the Hoku Hale Showroom. His venue features high-tech light and sound systems and seat up to 400. He still does his rendition of Tiny Bubbles, flirts and cajoles the audience and features new and upcoming talent of Hawaii. Adjacent to Don Ho in the Waikiki Beachcomber is Waikiki's newest showroom features John Hirokawa in the Magic of Polynesia. This magic show with a Polynesian flair is certainly one to see and is Waikiki's only major stage production Also performing in Waikiki is the Society of Seven in the Outrigger Showroom. SOS has changed their format to include a wide variety of pop hits and Hawaiian ballads in their show. These seven men are a Waikiki standard, but their new shows keep them fresh and fun. Down the street high atop the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center in the Aloha Showroom, is the Legends in concert. Featuring live performers show casing your favorite performers such as Michael Jackson, Madonna and Marilyn Monroe. Lots of fun and talent to be found here. Shows offer both dinner and cocktail seating, with dinner seating prices the $50 range with cocktail shows in the $29-$39 range. Reservations are recommended while ties are not! Take the time to extend you Hawaii experience into the night, at least one night of your stay. You'll find it fun and enjoyable and it will take your mind off of that nasty sunburn! A hui hou!
