I recently sent an email out to the web master of www.ghoststudy.com, asking him questions about his ghost hunting experiences. Here are his answers. Enjoy, and I hope everyone learns something.

1) How did you become involved in ghost hunting?

We had a ghost living in our attic when I was nine years old. The ghost stayed in the attic for the most part but became quite active late at night. We would hear things moving around and the thumps would literally wake us up from a dead sleep (pardon the pun). It/He/she.....would also open the attic door in the wee hours of the night for us to find open in the morning......talk about chills! My fascination for ghosts grew from that point on. My first ghost hunt began the day I entered that attic, it was terrifying but exhilarating at the same time.

2) How long (years/months) have you been doing this?

I have been tracking ghosts from an early age but less than three years in a formal sense.

3) How many hunts have you gone on?

I have participated in innumerous ghost hunts and investigations within California and Nevada but I have been as far as Gettysburg Pennsylvania in search of the evidence I seek. My next major planned event will be to Roswell, New Mexico where I will be searching for a phenomena known as RODS. These are ghost like creatures that are believed to be a separate life form.

4) Can you give me a brief description on what you do in these hunts?

I search for ghosts and other energy forms that show up on film. I must say though, I do not seek after demons or angry ghosts. When I arrive in a location where an evil presence is felt I leave immediately, and I feel that you should too!

5) How many people are usually with you?

I take along as few as possible....I find that more than three people in a group can tend to spook the ghosts, so to speak. When there are a large group of us I try to split them into mall groups and go out in separate directions. Walkie talkies are used in these instances.

6) What equipment, do you personally, like to use?

The most important equipment for me to have on a hunt is a digital camera to track the ghosts and a 35 MM to produce the evidence (negative) needed. I have an array of equipment that I use when hunting ghosts but what I end up using will depend on the circumstances. Some of what I might take along are EMF meters to detect a ghostly presence, a thermo scanner to
