Electronic Voices Phenomena~ What is it? (EVP for short).
EVP's are supposedly recordings of ghostly voices. Ghost hunters will often take along several tape recorders, and leave them near a grave or some place where they are feeling a lot of activity. Although they hear nothing with the naked ear, the tape recorders will 'pick up' the ghostly conversations from the otherside.
After listening to hours and hours of nothing, or static, they sometimes hear voices in the tape. Now, if you ask me, they hear these voices because they are listening to hours of nothing, and well, after so much of that, your mind puts something in there. I have listened to many supposed voices from beyond, and heard nothing but static. The only time I was able to actually hear something was on a tape I rented of an hour long show that A&E did. But then, I wondered if I heard it because that is what they said the ghost voices were saying.
Now as you all know I kind of believe in ghosts, or for a clearer view, I believe that there are things beyond our realm of understanding, I just don't know what that is. And although I hold the view that some ghost photos maybe real, some stories may be true, and maybe some videos are as well, I just have a hard time believing in "EVP'S."
Many ghost hunter's websites have files of evp's that you can download, listen to, and decide for yourself. I won't make that decision for you, or naysay ya if you decide that the file titled, "Ghost2.wav" is actually someone saying, "I am in the chair." You shall hear what you hear or see what you see.
In many of the ghost pictures I have seen, where the webmaster wrote, "there is a face here." I have seen nothing but white mist, (Smoke?) yet my husband will see the same picture, and say, "It is right there." He will point it out and I still see nothing there. If you haven't heard of evp's, don't take my word for it, try it out for yourself.
Some useful words to use to search for such things on the web are:
1) EVP (Strange, eh?)
2) Transcommunication or...
3) ITC (Instrumental TransCommunication) These include videos as well, most of the time.
