Pictures of Ghosts on the Web4) Orbs - These are funny little pictures. I don't know what to think of them, but supposedly, one way that spirits show up on film is in the shape of a, well... orb. Little circles, big circles, things that were not there or were not seen by the photographer. Sometimes, to me, they resemble water drops on the lens, although this is usually vehemently denied. 5) Fakes - Everywhere we are, no matter what time or how enlightened a civilization we are in, there are always those out there looking to make either a quick profit or have their five minutes of fame. Sometimes, the photographer is exceptional in his or her skills of deception and it is hard to tell the difference, but many sites dedicated to ghost photographs will show you examples of fakes. You see, spirits and other paranormal things have fascinated me since I was a child. I am certain that my home was haunted, but it seems I was the only one who thought that. My mother often had experiences there, but wrote them off as visitations by her father. So, after visiting these sites for the first time, I got out my own pictures and dug through them. Out of hundreds of pictures I found about ten that had vortexes in them, and one with what appeared to be a very faint orb. I don't remember seeing these pictures when I got the film developed, but I am sure I thought, "Oh, this ones messed up." And set it aside, in my trash pile. It was very disconcerting to me, and a bit frightening as well, as they all appeared to be in pictures where my daughter was the focus. Even if you don't believe in ghosts at all, and think its all just a bunch of insane people who have nothing better to do with their lives, it is worth a night of exploration, of seeing something new. And who knows, you may just shock yourself with the thought, "Could this be real?"
