Mahogany (Episode 7)

have me and your daughter in your life? I left that dream of being famous and touring the world in order to come back to Harlem...back to Mahogany. I need and want to be with you. I need a family that is strong, solid foundation of courage and determination as well as filled with beauty and the legacy of Mahogany that my mother and father created in this great city. I love you, Jousha and I hope you take us."

Rain drops fell around us as Josuha eyes seemed to seep through to my soul. Josuha stepped closer and his breathing touched my heart. He pulled me closer and I could hear our hearts beat the rhythm of life.

"I never stopped loving you, either, and there is noone else I rather spend my life with. Only with you Jewels." His eys seemed to gleam of the forming tears as he blinked for a second and looked back at me. "Thank you, thank you for giving me a beautiful daughter in your image."

"Take us home...take us to Mahogany's."

He rushed towards me and kissed me. As the rain drops surrounded us it felt like angels increasing our pure devotion to one another. We hugged each other as we walked to the waiting taxi...to begin our new family, in Harlem.

I was finally home.
