Mahogany (Episode 3)

“Yes, I must have dropped it when I went up to my room a moment ago. Thanks."

"No problem. So you are a student here as well?”

“Yes, I am so excited! My name is Will Sands.”

"I'm a student also and I'm very zoot!...And being in Harlem I can't complain...My name is Joshua Waters, I'm from Chicago."

Will set down his luggage and the two black men outreached their hands to shake.

“Hey, I am not going to stay all day." A sweet young female voice came from behind Joshua, which prevented Will from seeing her.

Finally, Joshua turned around, exposing this black goddess that made Will drop what was in his hands. She's short and has so many curves, Will thought; trying not to stare to long, Will only managed to count at least seven in all of the right places trying.

“Rachel, I’m coming but I want you to meet a new student, Will Sands ... Will, this is one of my dear childhood friends; we are so close we are like brother and sister. Rachel Jones, please meet Will Sands.

“Hi…” they both said exposing their approved tone of finally touching one another.

Joshua found it hard to keep from laughing at his childhood friend and Will because they seemed to not be aware their mouths were still slightly open and they were still holding each other's hands.

“It’s nice to meet you.” Will finally said, still not letting go of Rachel's hand.

“Same here.” Rachel purred with a sweet smile.

“Will…I need your help over here!” Cotee called out.

“Coming, Cotee…you two wait here and in a few minutes we can all go get a drink.”

Joshua and Rachel nodded of their approval, so Will politely smiled before going over to Cotee. Cotee stood in front of his car with the hood up and smoke slowly coming out. As Cotee continued to poke in a certain area, the smoke flowed out everywhere, engulfing him. Cotee stepped back and started to wave his hands. Will shook his head, knowing this would take a little longer than he hoped. Will went to the driver side which was facing the exposed street and placed one of his large canvas drawing inside.

Suddenly Rachel and Joshua started to yell because they noticed a car starting to speed faster and faster, then cut across the street heading directly for Will. When Will looked up he saw the huge
