The fourth track, "PS," should be their single if they ever become large enough to release one, as it starts off with a high, melodic guitar riff that is matched with singing that almost seems as though it is from angels. And then, as the drums mount at the end of the first verse, back comes Sleuth to yell and scream his way into self-deserved prophecy before the chorus ends as quickly as it began and the angels return. This, certainly, is the best track on the album. The CD continues in this fashion, track after track of amazing lyrics, heart-stirring riffs, and a rhythm that won't allow you to sit still if any hardcore album will. When the final, twelfth track finally fades from existence on the LCD screen of your CD player, you're clumsily thumbing your way over the buttons until 1 reappears and the world, again, seems clean. If you appreciated Project 86's first CD, wait until you hear their second. They've created new boundaries for other hardcore bands, new limits that must be broken if any want to compete. "Drawing Black Lines" can be found in Christian stores around North America on BBC Records and in secular music stores on Atlantic Records. As far as I'm aware, both versions are identical as far as the tracks go. Check Project 86 out if you haven't already. You won't be sorry. Buy both their albums, in fact. They truly are setting standards in the hardcore scene whether you're discussion Christian music or hardcore as an entirety, KoRn and other representatives included. Go To Page: 1 2
