The I's Have It indeed. Many i's tell many stories, and the stories they are going to tell in this article will be of some interest in your study of handwriting analysis.
In our last article we got to the i that was very light, hardly seen, almost a 'kiss' on the page. We learned it meant sensitive and unaggressive. If it was high above the stem, then the person further lived in a fantasy world and may consider themselves to be spiritual or psychic. In this article we are going to look at some more "i's" to see what's up. What if you see an i dotted at a point lower than the stem? Then you are seeing someone in poor health, with extreme self control and who is into self abasement. In other words runs themselves down. If the dot on the i is to the left of the stem you have a cautious person who is shy. They are afraid of the future and anything new horrifys them. How about a nice long i dot? It shows a creative individual, who is active and has abundant energy. When I say long, I mean an i dot that is long from top to bottom. Having clarified that, then let's look at club dots. Call them club shaped if you will. They are club shaped from top to bottom (with the heavy end being on the bottom) usually and they indicate (in ANY POSITION - right, left, center, high, low, etc) that the person is irritable. Which actually may be a bit of an understatement depending on what else is present. For those of you who do curved i dots, then you are showing your sense of humour. Showing your playful side. Do you do your i dots as a circle instead of a dot? Then you are showing a desire to be different or to change. Some also call this idiosyncratic. Oh yes, there are also circle dots that are filled in - with ink I mean. This indicates a desire to change but the person isn't ready to face that change yet. It can also be classified as a call for attention. Here's an interesting twist - so to speak. If you see a person who uses their i dots as an ending or as a beginning stroke, then you have a person who is a quick thinker. Interesting isn't it? Well, we're not quite done with the "i's" yet, and in our next article will cover a few more, then move on over to the j's and k's. You wouldn't think there would be too much to tell from a k right? Ahhh well, you'd be surprised. Go To Page: 1 2
