Facial hair should always be kept neat and trimmed, as should sideburns. It is a good idea to invest in a beard/mustache trimmer. Facial hair should be trimmed every two weeks. Sideburns can be done at home, but it can be hard to make sure both sides are even. if I had a dollar for every pair of uneven sideburns I've encountered, I'd be living in Malibu right now.
Eyebrow waxing is becoming more popular with men, although I have to admit that after waxing hundreds of men and women, I believe women do indeed have a higher threshold for pain. Every eight weeks, or every other month, is a good time frame for eyebrow waxing. Most men don't want their brows arched, but it is smart to get rid of that uni-brow. A mustache comb can be used, along with shears, to trim eyebrow length. In my opinion, it's the details that are important. This includes keeping nose hair, ear hair, and neck hair under control. Men sometimes have the habit of letting the hair on their head, back, and neck grow together. No hair should be visible on the neck or back that is visible through a shirt. the exception to this may be chest hair, although displaying chest hair hasn't been in vogue since about the mid 70's. Some of these things may seem obvious, but you'd be surprised how many men neglect these details. I guess they don't think that anyone will notice, but people do. Any stylist should be willing to trim hair on the ears, neck, or nose, all you have to do is ask. Go To Page: 1 2
