Some Interesting Self-Discovery Questions to Ask Yourself
. We have been discussing the importance and ways to get a better understanding of ourselves. If we would really reach an honest awareness of ourselves we might find some very interesting discoveries. Not all will necessary apply to any one individual but many will find that they can relate to some. Why are we not successful or more successful? Can it be that we are afraid of success? Maybe we feel guilty about being successful. Can we handle financial success? Do we have some negativity in us about having a lot of money or a need to suffer or work hard? Are we holding our selves back from success in any area subconsciously? Is there something holding me back from having a more spiritual life that I may really prefer? Have I been programmed unconsciously to live a certain way which is against my real desires? It could be the society we live in has engraved within us certain concepts about life that are just not true or not what I really want or should have. Has the society or family I come from given me a negative outlook on my Jewish religion and/or heritage?

Why Don't We want to Change?
. There is something safe and comforting about the familiar even if it is not really what is in our best interest? Change carries with it doubt and can trigger in many the red alert lights to be aware and lead to inaction. This can apply to many areas of life and in many situations. Could it be many people are not making wise investments is because they are secretly sabotaging their own success? Why do we not learn from our investment mistake to make wise judgments the next time? Is the excuse for loosing out in an opportunity because we expected the investment to go even higher the real reason? Yes greed may be one reason but maybe there is more to it or a combination?

A Life Coach
. What is the answer for this? Working on self-awareness and being honest with ones self is a good start. Doing this alone is not an easy task. Having another person to work together with may be the answer. Having someone to assist you in your search for self-understanding in a way that enables you to move ahead in life can really make the difference. Today there is a growing profession of life coaches who are trained to assist a person with their financial or personal growth.
