The Measurements of the Ark
As I promised in the last article we will continue to discuss and understand the truth behind Noah and the Ark. The Torah describes the measurements of the Ark as 300 “Amot” long, 50 wide and 30 high. It is divided into three sections or floors. Although there is a discrepancy what exactly is the measurement of Amot, we can round it off to about 18 inches. That would make the measurements of the Ark 450 feet long, 75 feet wide and 45 feet high. Now comes the part where many so called ‘Ark Researchers” are faced with a dilemma.

How did all the Animals fit into the Ark?
One of the biggest questions facing the academic in studying the ark is how did this ark fit all of the worlds animals in it? theories There are those whom have made models with all types of to explain this. But as we discussed previously we have the Oral tradition straight from G_D so we have no doubts. The top floor was designated for Noah and his family. The second floor alone was designated for the Animals and the bottom for the garbage etc. So now there is even a smaller space for the animals; just one floor 450 feet in length and 50 feet wide about 15 feet high. This is not too big for all the animals of the world. So how did they all get in? G-D did a miracle in order that all the animals were able to fit in.

Similar Miracles in History
We find in other areas of our history where we have similar miracle of a small space containing more than possible. In the Temple in Jerusalem there were many ongoing miracles recorded by the sages. One of them is that there were times that there would be so many people within the courtyard of the Temple that they were squeezed one against the other. But when it came time to prostrate themselves, upon hearing the pronunciation of the name of G_D, everyone would be able to bend over without any restriction. Suddenly there was no lack of room. Throughout our history we find that men of righteousness have traveled far distances in short periods of time. This has happened many times to those meriting this. This is a similar concept. Time and space are relative and are only problems for us humans but G_D is beyond time and space and has no boundaries.

I don't know man, I like the story of the ark but all these miracles well... I guess it's as good an explanation as any when there'se nothing else to support a statement, not really satisfying though. ...
