The biggest surprise was their answers. Remember that this is coming from the highest authority of the Church. Regarding the Genealogical Contradiction they wrote (get ready for this)- “The list of J’s” ancestors that they [the Gospels] give are very different, and neither one is plausible” They explain their view as following “Because the early Christians confessed “J” as Messiah, for which the son of David was an alternative title, they historicized their faith by creating for him Davidic genealogies and by claiming that Joseph [his supposed father] was a Davidide” This is not all yet- “The Christian community believed that “J” had fulfilled Israel’s hopes prominent among those hopes was the expectation of a Messiah, and so the traditional title “Messiah” was given to J; but in Jewish thought the Messiah was pictured as having Daivdic descent; consequently “J” was described as “son of David”; and eventually a Davidic genealogy was fashioned for him”.
The truth about the “Virgin Birth”
They also go on to admit about the so called virgin birth also a quite surprising admission. “Biblical evidence leaves the question of the historicity of the virginal conception unresolved”. They suggest there the following idea- “Early Christians might have imported a mythology about the virginal conception from pagan or other world religions, but never intended that that mythology be taken literally” They likewise note the following since it is widely known that Mary was widely known to have delivered “J” too early: “Unfortunately, the historical alternative to the virginal conception has not been a conception in wedlock; it has been illegitimacy”. I refer our readers to this book for more information and quotes of this document.
A painful concluding thought
It comes out as we have always understood than Christianity made up all types of ideas just to attract the masses of the ignorant. They wrote blatant lies and fairytales to attract people to believe follow them. What pains us even more is that the Church is responsible for the deaths of millions of our people put to the worst deaths in the name of this “fairytale”- May G_D Avenge their deaths! I think between what I wrote in the last essay and now in this second essay we can all understand why Judaism totally rejects Christian ideas. Upon study we cans see much of what is taken form them is from pagan religions. Here on my page you will find some interesting links for further study. One of them shows how Christianity copied directly in Pagan religions
