Why Judaism Rejects Christianity II

Luke seriously Contradicts Mathew
Now in Luke chapter 3 the verses again come to trace the lineage of J. This time we find that it is different than in Mathew. This alone is a very serious contradiction but there is more. The verse tells us that he came from Nathan the son of David. This again is a terrible mistake on their part. Like we said it is an agreed upon fact that the Kingdom of David was continued from King David’s son Solomon. So the Messiah will likewise come through the lineage of King Solomon not another son of King David.
A revealing attempt to cover it up
This is such a serious contradiction that we find that in another place in the Christian bible they try to cover this up. While doing it though it gives the final blow as to what their Bible is all about. In the first book of Timothy it states like this and I quote- “Nor pay attention to false stories and to genealogies which end up in nothing but which furnish questions for research rather than a dispensing of anything by G_D in connection with faith”. Firstly Timothy is referring to Luke and Mathews as “false stories which in itself very revealing to what they thought of each other. What they are trying to say is how they handle all the multitudes of problems within their scriptures. They brush it away and say to just believe and have faith. Well this is nonsense since faith needs a solid foundation upon which to stand. This alone is enough to take away any credibility this book they call the “New” Testament might have tried to give forth.
A letter to the Pope
There is an author of two wonderful books which I highly recommend to everyone. They are called “Permission to Believe” which is 4 Rational Approaches to G_D”S Existence. The second is “Permission to Receive” which is Four Rational Approaches to the Torah’s Divine Origin. They are written by Lawrence Kelemen. I know the author and he did a wonderful job in both books. In the second book he discusses the various religions. He mentions also this problem we mentioned above. More so though is that he sent a letter to the Pope in 1995 asking this question together with a question about the virgin birth and another question.
