nudge, please don’t visit the chains. They have enough business as it is. If people, in mass, went back to the mom-and-pop shops, Wal-Mart would be bankrupt like K-Mart and they wouldn’t be the biggest national employer. Pay the few pennies more for whatever it is you need, don’t be cheap. The world becomes more interesting with diversity. I hate seeing the same shops all across America. I want to think if I go on a trip, I’ll find something new. Every little bit helps.
