Living Wage Campaigns for Life
Another thing that always helps is writing letters. Write to the Federal Government, your state Government and your local city or county government to raise the minimum rage to raise people out of poverty. You can also write an editorial to your local paper. Make your voice heard.
Often we forget about how many people in the US live in poverty and go hungry each and every day. For being one of the richest nations in the world, we have an atrocious number of children who are not fed. Buy just reading this, you are proved to be one of the 8% richest in the world by owning a computer. (For an interesting “video” see The Miniature Earth)
