A Magazine of Green Social Thought

The Synthesis/Regeneration, or S/R is a magazine produced by the WD Press out of St. Louis, MO. This Green organ has been in existence since 1991 and originally started by the Committees of Correspondence, and is now run by a group Greens connected with Greens/Green Party USA (GPUSA) since 1993.

The magazine comes out about once a quarter. The latest issue has just been released, Winter Issue number 24. This latest issue tackles three main topics: Looking at the 2000 elections “Post Election Reflection”; what’s going on at the US national green party level. “Genuine Green Unity?”; and what we are doing right now to destroy our Earth., “Biodevistation”.

The web site for Synthesis/Regeneration has on-line many of the magazines published articles. They don’t post the current issue articles, but the issue number 23, the previous issue is already on-line. At the S/R web site you can also read Ralph Nader’s acceptance speech from the Greens nominating convention, and his speech on the Election night, November 7, 2000.

This link takes you to a listing of all the issues of Synthesis/Regeneration. The articles from the back-issues that are on-line are convieniently linked for easy reading access. Or if you know an author and what to search to see what else she might have written, Click here for an alphabetical listing.

This is magazine is a great resource to read what the Greens have been up to, or find out what is burning in the heart of these Green writers. If you subscribe it becomes easy to stay informed with what is going on within the Greens nationally in the US and in other countries as well.
