Now try this with recycled paper.

1. I buy a pad of recycled paper.
2. "Then what?"
3. I use the paper up, being sure to use both sides.
4. "Then what?"
5. Someone receives my recycled paper and reads the message on it.
6. "Then what?"
7. When the paper is finished with it is recycled.
8. "Then what?"
9. It is reprocessed into more recycled paper.
10. "Then what?"
11. Someone purchases the recycled paper and the whole cycle begins again. There is no end to this cycle. You can ask "Then what?" until you are old and grey.

So, what can you do?

The way to lead an environmental life is easy. Simply work out what is going to happen to everything you possess. How is it going to continue to be useful until it is all used up. What are you going to do with your old furniture, your old books, that torn pair of jeans, the plastic bags, the empty plastic lemonade bottle, the foam packing that came with your computer, the computer itself when you buy a new one....?

No landfill sites, no incinerators, no burning them on the bonfire.......Where do they go?
