A baby download of 240 Kb., Harpia is your best bet for a Linux-based content management system. If you're a web-designer then Harpia is a content management system that is meant to assist you in creating a Portal-style Web site.

Harpia features support for news items, FAQs, links, file downloads, user account creation, and much more. Each item within Harpia is topic driven. As a Web site visitor you are able to logically follow a topic through to all associated items.

The program includes an in depth administration system, modularized features that can be turned off or on as needed, automatic system wide "Meta" tag descriptions and keywords, and customizable user and administrative level security.

The application is free to use under the GNU General Public License and takes a mere 2 minutes to download at 28.8 kbps. If you're planning on jumping on to the portal bandwagon, then this is your start-up kit.

Written by Amalla International, this version 1.03 is a pretty stable beta and all it needs to detect on your system is Linux and voila, you're up and running!
