Crab FettucineWelcome and thanks for visiting Gourmet Seafood! Seafood and pasta go very well together and make a delicious, easy and elegant meal that you can indulge in during anytime of the week. The most practical aspect of seafood and pasta dishes is that you can choose any type of pasta, seafood, vegetables and/or sauce combinations to create colorful, eye appealing and healthy recipes. I hope you try my recipe below--it is one of my family's favorites. Enjoy! Crab Fettucine In a large stock pot, add salt (to taste) and water and bring to a full boil; add fettucine and cook according to package directions; using a large deep skillet, melt butter and saute onion and garlic (do not burn); whisk flour, salt, pepper, nutmeg, and half and half in a bowl; pour mixture into skillet with onions and garlic; add peas; whisk until slightly thickened; carefully fold in crab meat; continue to whisk slowly until desired consistency is reached; pour over pasta and top with cheese and parsley. Serve with warm garlic toast.
