When we visited Turks & Caicos recently, we regularly visited the local grocery store because the food in restaurants was extremely expensive.

Actually, you don't have to travel to exotic locations to have fun poking your head in local grocery stores. When our children were little, I used to work for the National Pasta Association. We found it interesting to discover new shapes of pasta when we traveled in the U.S. Try this game yourself, and see how many pasta shapes you can discover.
