The Amercian duo The Machine in the Garden are back with a new full length album called One Winter's Night on a new label. The album is due for release in May 1999, which is (for those who didn't notice) only in a few weeks. I remember New Year's eve like it was yesterday! Whatever happened to the new year? Oh, back to the subject.
One Winter's Night consists of 13 tracks, and from the previews that I have heard, it definately sounds like tMitG, even though they have obviously worked out new ideas. The Arrangements are like always minimalistic yet smart and complex. You can clearly hear what is going on. If you like Ambient/Industrial/Gothic (though it really isn't fair to try to categorize this band), which you probably do since you're reading this. Be sure to pick this one up if you find it. Apparently the band/project is planning yet another release wether it be ep/single or album. There are plans of rerecording songs from the old and deleted éire EP. If you want more information about The Machine in the Garden, dont forget to visit their Official Homepage.
