Equipment Failure

The golf shoes in question were not discount store closeouts. The were manufactured by a sporting conglomerate with a very well known logo. This company is contractually affiliated with a ridiculously famous golfer who'll probably win the Masters again this year. Their reputation for quality athletic gear has taken a serious hit as far as I'm concerned. I don't play frequently enough to wear out a pair of golf shoes. These shoes were well cared for, and not very old. The phrase "they don't make 'em like the used to" keeps leaping to mind. On the positive side, I know what to ask for when my birthday rolls around. Finally, I strongly advise you to examine your golf shoes for signs of adhesive fatigue. If you find anything amiss, send them back from whence they came. I can't think of a stronger signal that we, as golfers, demand a quality product. Thousands of smelly golf shoes would certainly get my attention. Thanks for listening. I feel better now. Now I have to find a course that doesn't mention shoes in the dress code.
