I Am Smart...Much Smarter Than You...

However, I won’t counter these attacks with, “Well, everyone’s bisexual, you’re just not admitting it!” or “Bisexuals are better than monosexuals, we’re open minded to all people.” I think that sexuality is like a graph. Some people are truly 100% gay, as some are 100% heterosexual. And the rest of us fall somewhere in between. I know a woman who admits she’s attracted to men and women, but wants to be called a lesbian. So I call her a lesbian. If that’s how she wants to define herself, I can respect that. Myself, I’m about 70% homosexual, 20% heterosexual, and 10% other (I think it’s gay male, but I’m not sure). So I call myself bisexual—at least until I can find a better word for it. I believe that there are a lot more bisexuals on the face of this earth than we know, but if you want to be considered gay or lesbian, and you call yourself gay or lesbian, I’ll respect your wishes. Even if you’re in a same sex relationship and call yourself straight—I might be a little confused, but I’ll respect that, too. They’re just words, after all. So, all you bi people—relax. We’re not better or worse than anyone else. We’re not somehow culturally advanced because we’re bi. We’re here, we’re queer, just like everyone else.
