Chocolate Chip Peanut Cookies 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 sticks unsalted butter, room temperature 3/4 cup sugar 3/4 cup packed dark brown sugar 1 tablespoon vanilla 2 eggs 1 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips 1/2 cups coarsely chopped dry roasted peanuts Sift together flour, baking soda and salt into a small bowl; set aside. Combine the butter, both sugars and vanilla in large bowl. Beat until light and fluffy. Add the eggs and beat well. Reduce speed to low, add the flour mixture and mix until well blended. Mix in the chocolate chips and peanuts. Shape into log as directed above. To bake cookies, preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place cookies on ungreased baking sheet and bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
