Here is the second of three articles on my personal list of things to do before I die. I promised to post this list long ago, and have taken a long time to create it. I am devoting 3 articles to this topic because I feel that it is very important that everyone creates their own list.

34. Climb the stairs of the CN tower for charity. 35. Experience the seven wonders of the world. 36. Keep up to date on current world events. 37. Teach a child to read. 38. Stay extremely close to my immediate and extended family. 39. Accept that death is just another turn in the eternal circle of life. 40. Feel joy for things that are often taken for granted. 41. Walk across a glacier with a person from Nunavut. 42. Sit on the beach and talk to a person from Newfoundland about their lives and values. 43. Teach an adult to swim. 44. Help someone to overcome their greatest fear. 45. Live a life without smoking, drinking, or taking drugs. 46. Ask for gifts that benefit the giver or the person needier than myself. 47. Talk to others without bias. 48. Assure others that they have my full confidentiality. 49. Eat a diet that will make me as healthy as I can be. 50. Write thank you notes by hand for all gifts. 51. Retain etiquette from the past that should not be forgotten. 52. Proudly wear a poppy on and around Remembrance Day. 53. Find a kindred spirit. 54. Wash my hands as often as possible to prevent the spread of illness in my community. 55. Let others go first. 56. Accept defeat in an argument. 57. Meet the Queen of England. 58. Use my knowledge and personal attributes to help others. 62. Go on an extended bicycle trip like my parents did before I was born. 63. Take a city-kid on a walk in the forest and show him or her the plants and animals. 64. Pick the fresh fruits of summer right from the plants on which they grow. 65. Learn how to forget my long list of things to do and fully focus on the task at hand. 66. Express my feelings without fear or embarrassment.
