Working in Algonquin Park,Working in Algonquin Parkloin cloths out of old sheets but I wasn’t too keen on the idea myself. Later that night we ate supper and had a camp fire. We swam and canoed. We put up tents using paddles and sticks. Some girls went over to the guys’ campsite and stole their canoes. They put them on an island. We thought it was great but the next morning all our canoes were gone and we had to signal for help. The guys had stolen them and put them on an island so were a bit late getting back. Another group of campers paddled us over and we were able to retrieve them. We headed back to camp and were back just before lunch. I was somewhat dehydrated because everyone had been drinking straight from the lake and the idea just didn’t sound healthy. Please see part 3 next week
