they are less likely to win a scholarship. Basically, scholarship donors want you to be a volunteer and community leader. They want you to be involved in extracurricular activities and rarely ask anything about work. So, if you plan on financing your future education with scholarships, don’t spend too much time at work, and visa versa.
Part-time jobs can be a valuable additional educational experience, or they can be a monotonous, diminishing, punishment. It is up to you to find the right job, and to be happy with it as a part of, but not as all of your life.
