All A Ghost Investigator Wants for Christmas Is.................

The turkey's been eaten. Now it's time to hit the department stores and the malls in the mad Christmas shopping rush. The process of selecting just the right gift can sometimes be as painful as a root canal on a rainy day. Teenagers are especially difficult to shop for. After all, they are notoriously particular recipients. Woe to anyone who dares to place an uncool gift under the tree of the family teen.

And what about those people who "have everything"? Choosing just the right gift for them can be a real headache. Small children and babies aside, ghosthunters have got to be some of the easiest people to buy for.

You see, ghosthunters love their gadgetry. And thankfully there are plenty of gadgets to aid in their ghostly quests.

A good camera is always high on the list of necessary ghost hunting equipment. Each year it seems that more bells and whistles are added. Digital cameras are more affordable than ever and are being used by more and more investigators. For those diehards who insist that a 35MM camera is the only correct way to photograph the spirit realm, there are a number of fine cameras as well.

If your favorite ghosthunter doesn't have his or her own video camera you might want to consider putting one under the tree this year.

A night scope that can aid in the capture of spirit photography would be sure to please. Thankfully, night scopes come in all price ranges.

What's that the spirit world is saying? Your gift recipient will surely be able to tell you, provided of course, you've purchased the latest in audio recording equipment. Digital and tape cassette recorders abound in all price ranges.

On a recent ghost hunt I noticed that one of the investigators carried all his equipment in a great duffel bag. When I remarked what a grand bag it was, he proudly informed me that the bag had been an anniversary gift from his significant other. Something so simple and yet, what investigator wouldn't covet such a fine bag to carry all that equipment from investigation to investigation?

Let's keep in touch. There's no better way for ghost investigators to keep in touch during the quest than walkie-talkie radios.

Meters are considered essential equipment by practically every ghosthunter nowadays. Do some shopping around because meters come in all sizes and price ranges. If the ghosthunter on your list owns a meter you can always buy a newer and fancier model.
