How Many Haunted Houses?

Next time you see your cat or dog seemingly staring at nothing, ask yourself if it is a ghostly pet that has captured the animal's attention. A friend once suggested that we might see ghostly animals more often than any other type ghost. After all, we don't pay much attention when we see a cat preening itself in a sunny window, or a dog happily basking in the sunshine.

We are numbers oriented, we take the census and we count the days till Friday. Everything may seem more organized with numbers. But human nature being what it is, it's doubtful that there can be an accurate count of every haunted home in the country.
