The Conversation Turns to Ghosts

'You! Why, you are nothing but a boy. How can you help us?' The woman hissed angrily at me. I was ready to jump up and defend my knowledge of the area when my brother caught up with me.

'Who are you talking to' he asked.

Those people I answered pointing toward where they stood. But there was nothing. When I called for them to return my brother slapped his hand over my mouth.

'Fool! You've been talking to ghosts and now you wish them to return?'

'They are lost!' I insisted.

'Lost? Have you not heard of the family that was slain near here? Their ghosts have been crying for help in this graveyard since before you were born.'

I tell you, I never again walked past that graveyard."
