Haunted Colleges
Most college campuses seem to have a resident ghost or two. A much beloved professor is said to haunt the campus of University of Nevada in Reno. He doesn't lack for company.
Early in the 1900s young James Champlane discovered that his marks were not good enough for springtime graduation. Despondent over the prospect of spending another semester in school, the young man hung himself in the dormitory. Over the years, countless students have heard his ghost restlessly roam the dorm.
In a Florida college, the ghost of a beautiful young co-ed who was murdered in her dorm haunts those who reside in the building.
Haunted Elementary and High Schools
The naughty teenage ghost of a student haunts the school auditorium of a local high school in Eugene, Oregon. The young man fell to his death in the auditorium and now plays pranks on those who happen upon him.
Austin, Nevada is a small town with a colorful past and a haunted school. A young school principal hung himself in the school late one evening. He's been roaming the building ever since.
A school teacher and a few pupils are thought to haunt the old Fourth Ward School in Virginia City. Ghostly pupils have been seen scampering outside the old school house in Bodie.
