Looking for Ghosts in Sin City

Las Vegas is the entertainment capital of the world. No doubt about it. Think 24/7. Take your pick of any one of the fabulous hotel/casinos. They all offer gaming, dining, cocktails, and knock your socks off entertainment. Don't be surprised if you spot a movie star or two. The famous love this city. Great, but what if you happen to be a ghosthunter, on the lookout for a haunted spot or two?

Take heart! There are plenty of spots to choose from. Carluccio's Tivoli Gardens is probably the city's best-known haunted restaurant. Stop in for some of the tastiest Italian food in town and who knows, you might even spot the ghostly presence of Liberace. The Flamingo is still your best bet for catching sight of the suave gangster, Bugsy Siegel. Sure Bugsy, was offed in Beverly Hills. But you can't blame a ghost for preferring the excitement of Sin City to the boredom of a mausoleum. Yes, ladies and gents Elvis has left the world, but he hasn't left Las Vegas. He's everywhere in the city. Presley has long been rumored to haunt certain showrooms where he performed. Is it an impersonator or the genuine ghostly king?

For those who like their specters fun and fast, there's the "http://www.hauntedvegastours.com." Haunted Vegas Tours. Hop on the bus. Sit back, and relax. Prepare to be entertained in an especially spectral sort of way. See the corner where Tupac Shakur was gunned down, and the park where a ghostly little boy is said to turn from tot to demon.

On a recent night in Las Vegas, yours truly decided to try the Haunted Vegas Tours. As an admitted sucker for anything ghostly, I persuaded my mom and dad to join me on the ride. Along the way, we heard tales of horrifying ghost sightings, laughed as our tour director, Robert Allen, cracked one joke after another. As the bus cruised the city streets we saw sights the average tourist probably doesn't even know about. When the ride was over we went back to the Greek Isles for the show that is included in the price of the ticket. Fun stuff!

Did we see a ghost? No, but we sure learned a lot about Sin City's supernatural side. There was a dowser along who told us the rods indicated there was some sort of activity the park. One person got an orb in a photograph, and someone else thought they saw something in the window of Bugsy's old stomping ground...Could be!

There's more to this town than meets the eye!

I didn't know about your topic! I need to see if you have anything about New Jersey (my current place of residence)!

Thanks, Janice! ...
