It's that time of year again! Yes, 365 days have passed, and somewhat quickly if I might say so. Time to make some New Years resolutions.
With 2005 fast approaching, I would like to offer up the following ghosthunters' resolutions. Feel free to use, or ignore, as many as you might see fit. As a ghosthunter I resolve to worry less about what others think of my paranormal interests and more about the location I will investigate next. I will spend less time explaining why I investigate ghosts, and more actually investigating. Certainly ghosthunters march to a different drummer. As such, we should always expect to do some explaining to friends and families not so enlightened as we are. Just be careful that you don't let yourself become engulfed with explanations and apologies for your interests. Remember that many people just can't understand the fascination with graveyards and other haunted locations. And they never will. I resolve to read and to learn more on my chosen pastime. No one knows it all. By studying many different authorities in the field, we are better able enjoy our ghosthunting endeavors that much more. Perhaps you were lucky and Santa brought you lots of ghosthunting goodies. If that is the case, you might want to ignore the next resolution. In 2005 I will obtain and use the best ghost detecting tools and equipment available to me that fits within my budget. Everyone wants the best tools in their ghosthunting arsenals. And why not? There is no better time to acquire them than in the coming New Year. As a ghosthunter I resolve to respect the opinions and ghosthunting techniques of others even when they may differ vastly from mine. As 2005 progresses perhaps I will even try new methods to discover the truth of life after death. The last resolution is probably the most important. It is also the most difficult to adhere to. All too often we get stuck in the rut of our own ways. We steadfastly stand by our own ideas of what investigating the paranormal entails; we get comfortable with our own techniques and are afraid to try anything different. It is easier to criticize another's methods than to try them. What better time to change this than in 2005? Go To Page: 1 2
