The Captive Audience

What else is going on here that we are not told about?  Our government warns that our foods are killing us, yet there is another branch assuring us that the food is great, and as long as we eat their given allowances each day, we will be fit and healthy!  This would be the FDA.  

Here are a few examples:  the Food And Drug Association (FDA) dates back to 1906, when the first "1 Law" was enacted. Its purpose, to prevent the sale misleading or misbranded foods.  Shortly afterwards the word  pure was deleted, and replaced with unadulterated.  What a joke!  What that meant was they were adding no "chemical adulterants" and we all know that is propaganda!

We are all aware that processing removes valuable vitamins and minerals, that fortified means "vitamins added", so how can it be unadulterated?  This is an oxymoron.  We have become a captive audience of consumers, who are believing it, therefore creating a market for it.  WE are the ones who need to change! 

The agency paid to protect us has chosen to protect the adulterators instead. And guess who they've decided is really Public Enemy Number One? The natural food and Vitamin industry! Not those responsible for nitrates, cyclamates, pesticides, poisonous dyes, fillers, binders and all else added to our food.

Why?  We have asked. Why would any bureau attack anything so harmless? If vitamins and natural remedies are so good for you, why isn't the government backing them instead?  Well, it's common knowledge in Washington that government agencies provide revolving doors to and from jobs with industry. The FDA  is no exception. 

Here is a startling fact.  Did you know that 62% of the employees of top executives of the FDA (and related positions) left for jobs with food or pharmaceutical firms. That their interests now lie there?  What is taking place in this game of musical chairs is that they are all working together to keep their captive audience-the unknowing consumer!

Congressional investigators have also found that many FDA officials enjoy research grants from these large benefactor companies. According to sources in the Drug administration, consultants collecting research money from the same companies whose products they were regulating, were gaining praise due to the following.  If they approved a drug they were praised, they were discharged if they disapproved.

For years the FDA has conducted a program of harassment and false propaganda against vitamins. For years their avowed purpose was to put the whole health food and supplement industry out of business. Repeatedly, they have issued autocratic rules and regulations intended solely to make these products difficult if not illegal to distribute to the consumers.  They finally won
